Hello!

Hello! Here is a fun way to say hi to a friend! Send a pot of forever flowers! I used the Heartfelt Creations Dogwood stamp and die set along with their older discontinued flower pot set. Pair with a doily from Cheery Lynn Dies and you have a fabulous forever flowers card!

dogwood flower pot card front view

Supplies:  Heartfelt Creations (HFC) Dogwood flowers stamp and coordinating dies, HFC birds and blooms bird die and stamp, HFC flower pot, tag, and vine leaf stamps and dies, a hello stamp, Marianne Creatables  swirl stamp, black embossing powder, versa mark watermark ink, Staz-On Brown, Distress Ink: picked raspberry, lemonade, peeled paint, mowed lawn, forest green, vintage photo, persimmon, Cheery Lynn doily die, terracotta paper (recollections) white cardstock, 140# cold press watercolor paper, ribbit prills, jute string.

Directions: Cut a flower pot twice, stamp front with the swirl stamp and watermark ink, heat emboss. Shade edges of the pot with vintage photo Distress Ink. Die cut a doily from white candlelight paper or plain white cardstock, cut the doily in half and put under the edge of the rim of the pot. Adhere sides and bottom but not top, this will give you a pocket.  Stamp, color, cut flowers, vines, bird, and tag. Glue ribbit colored prillls in the middle of each flower. Cut white cardstock insert to fit inside the pot with about 2.5″ sticking out the top. Assemble vines, flowers, bird as shown being careful to glue some flowers on the pot and some at the top of the insert (see picture) so that it all works together. Cut another doily from vellum this time, cut in half and glue to the back of the flowers. Tie a jute string on the stamped hello tag, glue in place so it hangs freely. Pull out the insert, write a message, and give to a friend! Happy crafting!

Have a beautiful day!
